FAQ

What do I need to start doing Yoga?

All you need is a mat, a towel, and a clear area to practice in!  If your hands and feet sweat (like mine), I highly recommend buying a couple pairs of yoga socks and gloves!

How do I get started?

Start with 1-3 beginner poses (ex. cat-cow, down dog and forward fold) and move through them. And as you get more comfortable add a few more poses, then work your way up to a full-length class! Remember to breathe and never force any pose.

What is Vinyasa Yoga?

Vinyasa is a style of Yoga that is characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.

How will Prenatal Yoga help prepare me for labor and delivery?

Prenatal yoga teaches breathing techniques to help Mom’s manage their pain, it allows the pelvis and surrounding ligaments to open and move away from one another, it also encourages baby to get into optimal position for delivery.
